wat.

Been a while (I think we can safely assume that ~60% of blog posts start with that).

updates and all that to follow now:
So finals ended disastrously. In fact, the semester was just disgusting overall. Needless to say I was upset for a few days, but I drove home a few days later and was immediately thrown into the vortex of preparations for my sisters wedding, which went mostly smoothly. Once that was over, I thought I was in for a pretty chill summer. I got a chance to play for the relatively new Space City Ultimate Club team. I've been telling people that I play for the Houston team (which honestly is a really cool thing to be able to say), but I have to quickly add that it was the C-team/Third string before anybody gets any silly ideas about me being good at ultimate or something. It was a good experience, and I'm really glad that Houston of all places was able to implement a tiered club open team so effectively. It was really cool that got to play in an open tournament too! The teams weren't elite level teams but one team (Suess) had some Doublewide players. They beat our C team 15-2, and eventually went on to win the whole thing.

The week before that tourney though, I found out that I had finally gotten an internship. All the way up in Michigan, which is where I'm currently residing. It's outside of Detroit slightly, very country and pretty boring. The job is basically doing CAD all day, every day, forever. It's mind-numbingly repetitive. Thankfully they let me listen to internet radio, and the others that work there are awesome.

So that is my summer.I will be back at school in mid August

here is a video

Also I realize that I have injected approximately 0 personality into these posts. Not that any of you are reading, but I will try harder to make you smile. Or cry. Or just poker face all the way.

That is all for now.

How did this happen?

Recently I've been big on blades. I just picked the SAK (Swiss Army Knife...that took me ages to figure out) today. It's awesome but it also decided to cut me while I was opening the awl. Who knew awls were sharp? Anyway, pictured above is my current collection. I don't think I need any more for a while. At least, I certainly hope not. Always prepared, right?

In other news. Finals. Lots of information to remember. Not happy about that.

Also what the hell Honda, why do you design battery drainage protection systems so poorly? The battery in my civic died. So me and my roommate thought it was a simple task to jump. It was except not really. When I connected the last negative cable the car started freaking the hell out, honking and flashing lights and do everything else possible in the world to be obnoxious. We were confused for over an hour until my dad called and said that Honda designed it that way, in case someone is trying to steal the car. What I was supposed to do was let the car go nuts while I ran around to the drivers side and manually locked and unlocked the car. How much more unintuitive can you get?

Study time.

Hi. I don't expect anybody to find this blog. But if you find yourself reading it, that's okay too. I'm currently an aspiring engineer, in college and all that jazz. But I want to do everything. I try to keep my interests varied. I also want to keep this blog so that I can keep up with some sort of writing while on my way to becoming an engineer (it's not like engineers use words all that often anyway). So you should probably expect a lot of disjointed updates about random subjects.

So please enjoy what little I have to say while I say it with too many words.
